I have not done an outfit post in a looooong time so why not show you an outfit I wore to a wedding this past weekend! As an avid vintage lover, I adore any dress that shows off a 1950s/60s style. I paired the coral eyelet halter dress with a mint green belt from H & M and white platform sandals ($15 from TJ MAXX!)

After this outfit, now I want to constantly wear pink and green together!
(would it be obnoxious if I wore these colors in the winter?)

dress: Miss Sixty// shoes: TJ MAXX// belt: H &M
What two colors do you love putting together?!

On my recent trip to Miami I got to bask in the sun, enjoy the beach (and forget about the upcoming snow here in Boston boooooo) I also had a chance to finally wear one of my favorite sundresses I got from Aftershock London.

Bodrum Sundress
Aftershock London is a luxury British brand extremely popular for their use of glamorous fabrics like silk, satin and the intricate work to detail. 2 words can describe this brand AFFORDABLE GLAMOUR. The quality really is amazing, and the choices for beautiful evening gowns, cocktail dresses and clutches are endless. Perfect dresses for holiday event ladies when you don’t want to spend a lot! Live and look like a queen without the price a tag.
Some of my favorite items from their AW 2010 collection!

Agatha Evening Jacket
£140.00

Sherine Sweater Dress
£95.00

Irene Sweater Dress
£95.00

Cleo High Heel
£75.00

Which one do you like?!

Like every season, a decade comes back that will inspire designers to venture out and find new ways of exploring the “blast from the past”. We have seen the eclectic 80s and the funky 60s. Louis Vuitton explored the 50s and Karl Lagerfeld always seems to channel the 20s (for obvious reasons). This Fall the 70s seem to be the hit on the runway, and we are seeing it on the streets already.. fur vests, over the knee socks, fringe handbags and beautiful cognac colored lace up booties.

1. Berry Feather Coat by Miss Selfridge// 2. Laddered Maxi dress by Topshop// 3. Leubner clutch by Aldo
Inspired by the music of Stevie Nicks, the berry colored fur coat is a great add-on to
a sheer lace maxi dress. Channel Ms. Nicks’s style for a night out, and with an
olive green clutch to complement.

1. Peter Pan lace dress by Miss Selfridge// 2. ModCloth socks// 3. Faux Fur clutch by Topshop// 4. Alexis booties by Aldo
Classic 70s hit was the inspiration of a feminine yet bohemian look for the Fall. Mix of neutral colors with faux fur and lace can be both casual and dressed up as well (that faux fur clutch is calling my name!)
Do you like the 70s inspiration for Fall?!

The Boston Week Fashion Swap event was not only fun, exciting and a great time to meet with the other bloggers..it was also a great success!
The swap was sold out right before it even started which was crazy, and the line to get in was even crazier! Every person had a chance to grab any accessory, jewelry and any clothing items from the numerous racks (which you can see in picture above) This was my first time ever attending a Swap event and let me tell you..I don’t know how I never been to one of these. They need to be weekly!
90 + cellars was the wine choice of the night.
Cheap BUT great wine.. the Shiraz was my favorite!

Rate my look on Chicisimo!

The Swap event had its very own fashion show, and the models were the Boston bloggers that came to the event! We had to choose our own outfit from the items that we found at the swap..

and this was my outfit for the show!
(how fabulous is that jacket?! and I got to keep it!)
Would love any suggestions for outfits in the future with this
pretty little jacket.. please let me know!

One of my two favorite bloggers
Kinsey from KINSEY MICHAELS and Chloe from WALKING IN HEELS

Thank you to these 2 lovely ladies for making the event possible!

I apologize for the absence the past week!
Searching for an internship, working so many days and getting
ready for my last year of college has been keeping me busy and
away from the computer and any technology! ahh
Last week I had the pleasure of going to the Us Weekly Hot Hollywood
party here in Boston. VIP seating, yummy cocktails and a great rooftop party!
I ended up meeting fellow fashion bloggers! Kinsey, Katy
from Tangerine Hearts and Jaime from La vie… J’aime
They were so lovely (and so gorgeous)

dress: LIT boutique// shoes: Steve Madden// belt: nooo idea so let’s call it vintage =)

I will be away for a whole week on vacation!
Posting will be regular by Tuesday, September 7th!
Hope everyone has a great week..miss you all!

My New York trip was great! I forgot how much I missed the city
and my best friend of course.. (and the shopping!)
I try to go at least once a year but I might have to double that.
What I learned from my trip to NYC this summer…
1. Zombie Hut- A tiki bar in Brooklyn (between Degraw St & Sackett St) I highly recommend going here for the zombie bowl (the tiki bar version of a scorpion bowl).. its purely amazing! You get to play board games in a nice patio area while you get incredibly happy from drinks at an affordable price. GO THERE
2. Century 21- WHY WAS I NOT TOLD ABOUT THIS PLACE BEFORE? its like Marshall’s on steroids. Burberry flats for $100.00? yes please.
3. Manhattan and Brooklyn- I love you Brooklyn… Manhattan, I’m not too sure I like you much anymore. Upper east side…you are the exception.
4. The People- I have been living in Boston for over ten years so obviously I am used to the conservative and old fashioned attitude people have here.. but New York totally exceeds the definition of the word ATTITUDE. I love it.
5. Fashion- To point it out plain and simple.. I wish Boston had the balls to get away with some of the fashion New York streets has.

My beautiful bff Lizz
skirt: Forever 21//belt: Forever 21//shirt: Strawberries
Outfit under $30!

Both dress and belt are from Dots!
another outfit under $30.. yay budget fashion!

When I do get a day off (happens very rarely) I love spending a day in Boston..
I never really appreciate how great the city really is.
Now if you were only a bit more fashionable like NYC and Paris… =)
I still have hope in you Boston.

Pearls have become more than just putting them on a string around your neck.
They have become a symbol of glamour, class and femininity.
|It is no longer an accessory but an icon, and for me it is the only thing worth wearing.
Pearls have been paired with every material and substance.. leather..lace..lucite.. gold
(the list could go on and on)
No matter what it is paired with, it always creates an essence of beauty and sophistication
so why not pair it with something bohemian and free like feathers?

Made by a local college student Kate Greenwood right here in Boston.
Her line Green-Wood Design has been doing extremely well, and there is no surprise there
the earrings she creates are impeccably detailed and beautiful.
*If you are currently in Boston I suggest you to go to LIT Boutique and pick up a pair!
I had these specially ordered because of my love obsession for pearls!

Because of my love for asymmetry, I can’t help but wear one pair, and a pearl stud on the other. I am so in love with them!
and since I have not done an outfit post in AGES.. I just had to do one for you lovelies!

Black cardigan: (looks plain but there is gorgeous lace detail in the back) Urban Outfitters
Dress: LIT Boutique Boston
Belt: I have no idea =)
Happy Monday!
If anyone wants to ask me any questions or want any fashion advice please feel free
to ask me on my formspring! I will be happy to answer them
