Silky Knickers: Ayten Gasson Spring collection

I don’t write about lingerie on my little blog as much as I am obsessed with it, so I am delighted to get out that funk and show you one of my favorite lingerie designers: Ayten Gasson (and her Spring 2011 collection)

Ayten’s lingerie is pure silk, trimmed with Nottingham lace and inspired by anything vintage. I can’t get enough of her simple yet SUCH glamorous styles (Marilyn Monroe would have been a big fan!) For her Spring collection UK designer Ayten Gasson used the history of the British fashion industry and nature as an inspiration. If you adore pin-up girls, vintage and spectacular quality you have to check out Ayten Gasson’s work.

Fred & Ginger Lingerie: Moulin Rouge

Aubade lingerie: Autumn/Winter 2010

Every season Aubade seems to not have any trouble coming up with such brilliant designs in lingerie. They will always be my favorite brand in intimate apparel, not only for the aesthetic appeal but for the outstanding quality. Fall and Winter is a favorite time of mine to buy new lingerie (the bold colors, lace and the dramatic effect in each set is amazing!)

Kiki’s Ingenue collection

Kiki de Montparnasse is a favorite lingerie spot of mine
(if I could only afford the $300 bras..sigh)
nevertheless, Kiki is famous for their quality and naughty sophistication and I have
every right to drool over everything they have!

Maya Hansen Heavy Metal 2010 collection

If you have never heard of Maya Hansen, I suggest you go here and acquaint yourself!
The beautiful corsetry work Miss Hansen designs every season has been
a favorite of mine (think of her as the Betsey Johnson of corsetry)

This past collection that was shown during Madrid Fashion Week in February
had a lot of heavy metal/rock influences

I personally have a huge girl crush on Crystal Renn. She’s absolutely beautiful, full-figured and amazing for being able to come out from the fashion world slamming it for its terrible influence on younger girls and their body image.

Karl Lagerfeld is purely talented and amazing (we all know this) There have been times when I questioned if I really liked him, especially when I read he doesnt like fat people…? (read it here)
but I have made a final decision and I am pretty much in love with this man.

These corsets are not only high fashion, but have extreme high-function.
And as the Tactical Corsets company states “why should men get all the high-speed low-drag tactical toys”? and they are right,
now women can be bad-ass, sexy AND have a place to put their bullets.. bingo!

p.s please tell me I am not the only who thinks these bad boys should be
a mandatory uniform for female cops now a days… (my inner feminist weeps)
