As Summer gets closer, the joy of putting away our winter boots and heavy scarves is on an ultimate high. Living in Boston has its very obvious perks, but the moody New England weather can get a bit dreary and finding ways to welcome Summer in this city is hard work! Taking a little break from my blog to write my college thesis is actually giving me withdrawals! Seeing all your messages after my posts has always been a highlight of my day, so I can’t wait to be done with school and finally take care of my blog more (a.k.a my baby) If any of you have finals coming up, you are graduating or you are almost done with school.. good luck!! and congrats While I take a break from my thesis, I have a few cravings I stumbled upon.. maybe it will satisfy your fashion tooth, even just a little.

Feathers and Pearls

Pearls have become more than just putting them on a string around your neck.
They have become a symbol of glamour, class and femininity.
|It is no longer an accessory but an icon, and for me it is the only thing worth wearing.
Pearls have been paired with every material and substance.. leather..lace..lucite.. gold
(the list could go on and on)
No matter what it is paired with, it always creates an essence of beauty and sophistication
so why not pair it with something bohemian and free like feathers?

Made by a local college student Kate Greenwood right here in Boston.
Her line Green-Wood Design has been doing extremely well, and there is no surprise there
the earrings she creates are impeccably detailed and beautiful.
