Bardot Illustration/The Budget Babe guest post!
I have loved Brigitte Bardot since I was a little girl (though Miss Marilyn holds the number one spot in my heart) Brigitte’s personality in photos and on screen was always so endearing to me. She has been my number one muse for my lingerie and swimwear illustrations and I want to share one with you!
I drew this one last year..I have a bit of an obsession with one-piece swimsuits, obviously because of the vintage appeal but also because of the endless colors and styles you can work with that particular cut.
It is very simple with the basic white, but I love adding splashes of color just to make it really stand out.
Simplicity with femininity..always the best.
I rarely show my illustrations (I get shy!) so I hope you guys like it!
(I don’t like to draw faces on a croquis, so please excuse the alien look haha)
